Specifically, the Provincial Border Guard Command sent a working group led by Colonel Dang Van Hoang, Deputy Commander, to directly command the Nhat Le Border Guard Station and Ngu Thuy Border Guard Station to coordinate with other forces, local authorities and people to rescue 6 crew members on a stranded transport ship and a sunken tugboat.
Previously, at 12 noon on October 27, the cargo ship ND 3464, owned by Mr. Pham Van Phuc in Cat Thanh town, Truc Ninh district, Nam Dinh province (old), ran aground 100m from shore, with 4 crew members on board. At 2:45 pm, the crew members were brought safely to shore by coordinated forces. Captain Ta Van Suot said that when leaving the ship, the crew members locked the oil valves and temporarily anchored the ship.

At 2:20 p.m. the same day, a tugboat numbered HP 3605 with two crew members on board capsized and sank in the sea near the shore of Cam Hong commune. The two crew members wore life jackets and swam to shore. Mr. Ngo Minh Luu, born in 1964 in Tan Thuan village, Cam Hong commune, took them home for care. Their health is stable.
Currently, the sailors have been taken to the unit by Nhat Le Border Guard Station and Ngu Thuy Border Guard Station for medical care and accommodation.
