Reporting at the meeting, a representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DTC) said that the Hung Kings Commemoration Ceremony this year is expected to include a ceremony and a festival. The ceremony will take place from 8-9 am on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month (April 7, 2025) at the Provincial Museum.
The ceremony will include traditional rituals such as: offering incense, flowers and gifts; remembering the merits of the Hung Kings, reporting achievements, assigning specific responsibilities and tasks to the locality to strive to carry out; visiting the thematic exhibition "The Hung King Period through documents, images and artifacts" at the Provincial Museum. This year, the ceremony will also include lion and dragon dance performances and martial arts music.

The festival will continue right after the ceremony ends and will be held at Thu Dau Mot Park, with the following contents: Organizing a contest to wrap Chung cake and Day cake; folk games; and performing arts.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bui Minh Tri basically agreed with the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; at the same time, he noted that relevant departments, branches and localities should coordinate to prepare carefully, ensuring that the Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony takes place safely, solemnly and meaningfully.
