Ingredients for black pepper beef sauce

Beef tenderloin: 300g

Flour: 2 tablespoons

Onion: 1 bulb

Green bell pepper: 1 fruit

Red bell pepper: 1 fruit

Ginger: 1 root

Garlic: 1 bulb

Black pepper: 70g

Cooking oil: 4 tablespoons

Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons

Oyster sauce: 2 tablespoons

Olive oil: 1 tablespoon

Common spices: a little (salt/sugar)

How to make Black Pepper Beef

1. Prepare and marinate the beef

Wash the beef with diluted salt water, then rinse gently with water and let it drain. Use paper towels or a clean towel to dry the remaining water on the beef.

Then you proceed to cut the meat into thin slices across the grain so that the meat is not tough when eaten. Use a meat hammer to lightly pound the meat, helping the meat to soften and quickly absorb the spices.

Marinate the meat with 2 tablespoons of flour and mix well. If you want the meat to be softer, you can marinate it with a little olive oil. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, mix well and let it sit for 10-15 minutes for the meat to absorb the spices.

2. Prepare other ingredients

Wash bell peppers with water, cut in half, remove seeds and cut into thin strips.

Peel the onion, cut it in half and then cut it into small wedges lengthwise.

Peel the ginger, rinse with water and cut into thin strips. Peel the garlic, crush and mince.

3. Stir-fry vegetables

Place the pan on the stove, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and heat. When the oil is hot, add bell peppers and onions and stir-fry over high heat for about 4-5 minutes.

4. Make the sauce

Prepare a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 2 teaspoons of sugar and 50g of crushed black pepper, then stir well until the mixture dissolves.

5. Stir-fry beef

Place the pan on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and heat. When the oil is hot, add the beef and stir-fry until slightly cooked, then remove.

Continue using the same cooking oil to sauté the ginger and garlic. Then add the sauce mixture to the pan and bring to a boil.

Next, add the fried beef and continue to stir-fry until the beef is coated with the sauce, add a little remaining black pepper and mix well.

Arrange the stir-fried vegetables on a plate, then add the stir-fried beef on top and enjoy.
