It was not until December 1, the last day to register athletes, that Cambodian sports officially registered 72 athletes to participate and pay the fee with the list having been fully paid, Siamsport added.

According to the head of the Thai sports delegation, Mr. Thana Chaiprasit: "The head of the Cambodian sports delegation has submitted a list of a total of 137 people, including 72 athletes and officials, who meet the requirements. They will compete in 12 sports."

According to Siamsport , the Cambodian sports delegation will compete in 12 events including: swimming, athletics, e-sports, fencing, gymnastics, jujitsu, kickboxing, taekwondo, horse riding, jet skiing, triathlon and teqball.

Mr. Thana Chaiprasit, Head of the Thai Sports Delegation, also said that he asked Thai fans to welcome Cambodian athletes with hospitality at each competition.

Cambodian athletes will stay in separate hotels from other countries to ensure the safety of the host country.

Meanwhile, according to Mr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), starting from December 1, thousands of police officers will be deployed to ensure security for the 33rd SEA Games.

"Athletes and officials attending the SEA Games are considered international guests and will receive a warm and impressive welcome. At the same time, we have prepared thousands of uniformed and plainclothes police to support them from the airport to their accommodation and competition venues. To ensure maximum safety for all athletes and officials," said Mr. Kongsak Yodmanee.

According to Mr. Kongsak Yodmanee, there will be a special lane for SEA Games, buses for athletes and officials will be escorted by police. Traffic police have also been deployed to facilitate different routes, to avoid disrupting people's travel...
