On the morning of September 30, Marvell Technology, Inc., a leading company in microchip and semiconductor solutions for data infrastructure, officially opened two new offices in Ho Chi Minh City. Tomorrow, October 1, Marvell will also open a new office in Da Nang .
At the event, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc assessed that the opening of a new office in Ho Chi Minh City by Marvell - one of the world 's top 10 semiconductor technology corporations - demonstrated a long-term vision in its strategy of cooperation and technology development in the region.
According to the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the city has launched a plan to train 9,000 semiconductor engineers in the 2026-2030 period, contributing to the country's goal of forming a team of 50,000 high-quality semiconductor engineers by 2030.

Marvell's proactive cooperation with domestic universities and businesses to train and develop human resources is a sustainable approach, combining international knowledge and technology with the creative capacity of Vietnamese engineers.
"Marvel's two offices in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Da Nang demonstrate its long-term commitment, affirming Vietnam's increasingly clear position in the global value chain of the semiconductor industry," said Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc.
In addition, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that in the coming time, the city is committed to accompanying Marvell and investors, through creating a favorable environment in terms of mechanisms, policies, infrastructure and human resources. At the same time, it is ready to support Marvell to promote R&D activities, technology transfer as well as expand the scale of engineering training right in Vietnam.

Mr. Le Quang Dam, General Director of Marvell Vietnam, said that Vietnam has affirmed its position as a strategic pillar in Marvell's global R&D network. The group's Vietnamese engineers are participating in advanced and complex technology projects in the semiconductor industry.
"The office opening marks a promising new era for Marvell as well as Vietnam's increasingly important position in the chip design field," Mr. Dam emphasized.
Marvell’s office at the eTown6 building (Tan Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) is equipped with a modern lab, integrating advanced testing tools for testing semiconductor chips. The equipment here costs up to millions of USD.
