Ba Son Bridge crosses the Saigon River connecting District 1 to Thu Thiem Peninsula (Thu Duc City). This is always a favorite destination chosen by people to check in, sightsee, enjoy the breeze...
In the late afternoon or evening every day, the number of people pouring onto the bridge is very large. They stop and park their vehicles everywhere, causing chaos, affecting traffic, often causing congestion and gridlock.

Readers think there should be signs prohibiting parking and gathering on the bridge (Photo: Gia Long).
What I find a bit... "strange" is that although the situation of people gathering in large numbers and parking their vehicles haphazardly, obstructing traffic here, has been going on for a long time, there are no signs on either side of the bridge railings that say "no stopping, parking, gathering" like on many other bridges in the city...(?!).
From the above situation, and to keep Ba Son Bridge always clear and safe during the day as well as at night, it is thought that the authorities need to resolutely and regularly regulate the situation of vehicle owners stopping and parking arbitrarily, as well as gathering in large crowds on the bridge. In addition, it is also very necessary to install additional "no parking, gathering" signs on both sides of the bridge railing.
