Specifically, on May 8, the Department of Health received feedback from people that impersonators used the phone number 0946.674.484 to contact establishments producing and trading goods and services under the management of the health sector in the province. The purpose of these contacts was to request information, records, licenses, images, account numbers and especially to raise the issue of transferring expenses to avoid inspection.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Hien, Director of the Department of Health, affirmed that the Department of Health does not contact by phone or text message to notify inspections, request information reports, or provide documents. The Department of Health does not request payment of any fees to production and business establishments.
To proactively prevent and stop this fraudulent behavior, the Department of Health recommends that heads of affiliated units thoroughly disseminate the warning content to all cadres, civil servants and employees. Production and business establishments of goods and services in the health sector in the province need to raise vigilance, proactively prevent, and not let bad elements take advantage and commit fraud. Districts, towns and cities direct specialized units and local media agencies to coordinate in propagating warnings to establishments and people.
The Department of Health recommends that when detecting unusual signs, organizations and individuals should promptly notify the nearest police agency or contact the Department of Health directly via hotline 0969.871.919 for timely guidance and support.
