Accordingly, through the work of grasping the situation, the police discovered that in the area, some students went on social networking sites to buy KumanThong dolls to worship at home, buy cakes, candies, milk and soft drinks to "feed" them; with the aim of praying for luck and good study. Many subjects took advantage of the gullibility, curiosity, and lack of knowledge of students to lure and entice them to believe and buy the dolls.

According to the police, this is an extremely dangerous superstitious activity, causing panic and fear, creating bad consequences for the students themselves, their families and society.

To ensure security and order, protect the purity and health of theeducational environment, Quang Nam Provincial Police requested the Department of Education and Training to direct specialized units and educational institutions to strengthen propaganda and education to raise awareness among students.

Absolutely do not let anyone take advantage of the situation to propagate and entice students to participate in illegal activities. Resolutely do not let students participate in superstitious activities and illegal religious activities.

The Department of Education and Training has also sent a document to the Departments of Education and Training and schools under the management of the department in the area regarding strengthening security work in schools, related to the above situation.
