The Traffic Police Department said that at around 10:00 a.m. on November 8, Traffic Police Team No. 4, Team 6, Room 6 (including Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Hai, Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Xuan Mung, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thuong and 3 Mobile Police) led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Hai, while performing mobile patrol duties on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, provided first aid and guided a passenger bus driver who showed signs of a stroke to the hospital for timely emergency treatment.
Specifically, during the patrol on the route, Traffic Police Team No. 4 received a report from the patrol of Vietnam Expressway Engineering Services Joint Stock Company (VEC E) that there was a passenger car with license plate number 86B-011.48 driven by Ha Van Minh (born January 1, 1972, residing in Duc Linh commune, Lam Dong province), when reaching Km25+350, Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, in Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province, the driver showed signs of a stroke, stopping the car in lane number 2 next to the emergency lane of the expressway.
At this time, Traffic Police Team No. 4 was patrolling at Km22, quickly arrived at the scene, organized traffic flow to ensure traffic safety. Initially, the task force determined that the driver had signs of stroke, so they performed first aid; at the same time, called the ambulance of Long Thanh General Hospital, Dong Nai province to quickly approach for emergency treatment.
The working group drove the ambulance to lead the way and took the driver to Long Thanh General Hospital for timely emergency treatment.
