Cao Bang supports more than 955 billion VND for people to remove temporary and dilapidated houses.

Cao Bang provincial leaders awarded Certificates of Merit to groups with many contributions to the program implementation.

In the 2021-2025 period, Cao Bang province supported more than 955 billion VND for 19,067 poor, near-poor households, and policy families to build new and repair houses.

The number of houses supported for new construction and repair reached 100% of people's needs.

After new construction and repair, the family's houses must meet the 3 "hard" criteria (hard foundation - hard wall frame - hard roof).

The completion of support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses has helped families with housing difficulties "settle down and have a career", contributing to ensuring social security.

During the program implementation, many families have not been granted land use right certificates, land for housing is not included in the residential land planning, and land has not been converted to residential land.

Many households lack funds to pay land use fees, to change land use purposes and are unable to provide counterpart funds or organize construction themselves.

With great efforts and determination to implement the program, as directed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is "not only a political task but also an order from the heart", all levels, sectors and localities in Cao Bang province have closely followed up, removed difficulties and obstacles, and effectively implemented the program.

The Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province mobilized more than 176 billion VND; the Ministry of Public Security supported 144 billion VND; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front supported more than 24 billion VND... to implement the program.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Vu Hong Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in Cao Bang province sincerely thanked the groups and individuals inside and outside the province for supporting and contributing large funds to implement the program.

Affirming that the program has been successful, each newly built or repaired house for poor and near-poor households is imbued with humanity, adding faith and motivation for poor and near-poor households to rise up, comrade Vu Hong Quang emphasized that the program has been summarized, but has not ended. In the coming time, localities will continue to pay attention to supporting families in difficult circumstances, whose houses have been damaged by natural disasters, floods, and fires.

Among them, there are families whose houses were damaged by the recent storms No. 10 and No. 11 to sustain the program's achievements.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province awarded Certificates of Merit to 21 collectives and 14 individuals with many contributions to the implementation of the program.
