Binh Long Rubber: Workers' Month 2025

BPO - On the morning of May 9, the Trade Union of Binh Long Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to launch the Workers' Month associated with the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025 and gave gifts to workers in difficult circumstances and workers who had occupational accidents.

The ceremony was attended by company leaders, representatives of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union, and a large number of workers.

With the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering into a new era" associated with the Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace", the 2025 Workers' Month at the unit will take place from May 1 to the end of July 2025.

“Workers’ Month is not just a movement, but truly becomes a season of love - where each worker feels respected and valued in the big Binh Long Rubber family” - Ms. Nguyen Thi Phung, Chairman of the company’s union, said in the opening speech.

Mr. Le Van Thuy, Vice President of Vietnam Rubber Trade Union, awarded certificates of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and certificates of merit from the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2024.

Accordingly, trade unions at all levels will organize many activities for workers, taking care of workers' lives, typically: "Thank workers", union meals, organizing cultural and sports playgrounds, organizing periodic health check-ups, promoting emulation movements for technical innovation initiatives... The total budget for the series of activities during Workers' Month is about 1.5 billion VND.

At the launching ceremony, 1 collective and 3 individuals received certificates of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their achievements in the excellent labor movement and building a strong trade union organization, and certificates of merit from the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union in the emulation movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful" in 2024.

4 union shelters were donated, helping workers in difficult circumstances have the opportunity to reach their dream of settling down in 2025.

On this occasion, the Trade Union of Binh Long Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. presented 168 gifts (VND 2 million/gift) to workers in difficult circumstances, those who had work-related accidents and serious illnesses. 12 families of female workers in difficult circumstances were supported with capital to develop their secondary economy, totaling VND 800 million. 4 union shelters were also given to workers in difficult circumstances for housing in 2025, each worth VND 50 million.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Van Bay, Deputy General Director of Binh Long Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. affirmed: The Resolution of the 2025 Labor Conference has set an output of over 18,400 tons of products, total revenue of over 909 billion VND, increasing the average income for workers by over 13 million/person/month. Workers' Month is an opportunity for businesses to show gratitude for the silent contributions of workers. Hopefully, this attention will add motivation for everyone to be more steadfast in life, feel secure in their attachment, and promote their capacity for stable and sustainable development in the new period.
