Caravan season 3: Launching the journey to propagate law and school traffic safety in Ca Mau

(PLVN) - With the aim of raising awareness of law compliance, especially school traffic safety, and supporting students in difficult circumstances, Vietnam Law Newspaper in collaboration with the National Traffic Safety Committee and the People's Committee of Ca Mau province organized the Caravan program "Propaganda and dissemination of laws on school traffic safety, volunteering and trade promotion in Ca Mau".

Speaking at the departure ceremony, journalist Tran Ngoc Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper, Head of the Program Organizing Committee - said: "This is a volunteer journey, bringing many values ​​and humanistic meanings. I hope that we will depart with all our hearts, with all our attitudes and solidarity to bring traffic safety laws to students. Thereby raising awareness of traffic culture as well as compliance, contributing to reducing accidents during traffic participation of students".

At 5:30 a.m. on May 30, the third season of the Caravan officially kicked off with the participation of 130 members and 42 self-driving cars, departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Ca Mau. The group will promote traffic safety and disseminate laws in areas with high traffic accident rates. Although operating in many different fields, the members share the same passion for spreading humane messages and raising public awareness.

The convoy of 42 cars numbered 01-42 lined up at the staging area to prepare for the journey.

The organizers instruct drivers to drive safely, ensure the correct speed and order of vehicles arranged before starting the journey.

The focus of the program is the event "Propaganda of Law and School Traffic Safety" held in Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province on May 31, 2025.

Sharing at the departure ceremony, Mr. Bui Thanh Tuan - Head of the 3rd Caravan route said: "This is the 3rd time I have joined the group. This is a very meaningful program to help students participate in traffic safety, reduce traffic accidents, and at the same time help promote traffic awareness to local people".

Preparations for the 3-day main event have been planned by the Organizing Committee since early April 2025. Also at this time, in Ca Mau city, the Organizing Committee has set up a training ground to demonstrate traffic violation situations so that students can visually detect common violations in real life.

On the morning of May 31, at Hung Vuong Park, the center of Ca Mau city, the main event of the Caravan journey will take place: "Propaganda and dissemination of laws on school traffic safety for the 3rd time". Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee will award prizes for the contest "Learning about road traffic laws and school traffic safety for the 3rd time for secondary and high school students in Ca Mau province"; Presenting 2,250 helmets to primary, secondary and high school students in Ca Mau city and 250 helmets to delegates and people.

The program disseminates traffic safety laws and demonstrates 10 traffic violation situations on the training ground by traffic police officers - Ca Mau Provincial Police.

In particular, the Organizing Committee displayed and paraded a giant helmet model measuring 3m high, 3.3m wide and weighing 1 ton during the event for delegates, people and students to sign on the helmet to promote the importance of wearing helmets when participating in traffic.

At the same time, on the morning of May 31, the Radio Convoy paraded with banners and slogans promoting traffic safety laws around Ca Mau city.

EXPECTED SCHEDULE:
