- Recently, job fairs organized by the People's Committee of Son Duong district in communes and towns have attracted a large number of workers and businesses inside and outside the province to participate. Thereby, it has opened up opportunities to help workers find suitable jobs, and businesses have also recruited skilled human resources.

Recently, Son Duong district organized the 2025 Job Fair at Son Nam High School, attracting many businesses and workers to trade and seek job opportunities.

Thanks to the good preparation and extensive propaganda to the people about the content of the Job Fair on mass media such as: District electronic information portal, radio news in communes, many students, union members, youth, and workers came to find information and attend the job fair. Here, the job positions and recruitment conditions are very diverse, suitable for many subjects, with different treatment regimes.

In addition, at the trading session, businesses and recruitment companies guided workers on how to register and access job tracking on the websites of the units so that workers could update the information they needed, helping workers fully grasp information about jobs, vocational training, labor export programs, and related policies. From there, they had the opportunity to find jobs that matched their qualifications and expertise.

Nguyen Ha Linh, grade 12, Son Nam High School shared that through the job fair, she learned a lot of useful information about industries and careers that match her interests and abilities. The consulting units and businesses were very enthusiastic, helping her understand more about the labor market and future orientation.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Director of the Recruitment and Employment Center, Agricultural Engineering College, said that at the job fair in Son Duong district, we had the opportunity to directly approach the young, potential workforce and discuss recruitment needs. This is a very practical activity for us to find students who want to participate in training at the school. Through this fair, 20 students have registered for enrollment at the school.

Realizing the importance of job creation and income generation for workers, in recent times, the People's Committee of Son Duong district has regularly paid attention to implementing synchronous solutions to attract investment in the area, and coordinate with businesses to create jobs for workers.

There are nearly 132,000 people of working age in Son Duong district. Since the beginning of 2024, the district has organized dozens of job fairs. In the first 5 months of 2025 alone, the district has created new jobs for 2,210 workers (reaching over 41% of the plan), of which 1,087 new jobs were created for workers in the province, 1,005 workers were sent to work in other provinces and cities, and 118 workers were exported.

Mr. Hoang Khanh Linh, Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Son Duong district emphasized: Organizing job fairs is one of the effective solutions to connect labor supply and demand, especially in industrial parks and rural areas, where many workers are looking for job opportunities.

“In order for job fairs to operate effectively in the coming time, businesses and consulting units need to fully inform employees about requirements, conditions, policies and benefits. Students and employees need to proactively grasp information about the domestic and foreign labor market; proactively seek jobs that suit them.

The district will actively coordinate with businesses and organizations to provide consultation, introduction, and successful job connections for workers. At the same time, it will focus on training a team of highly skilled workers to meet the needs of businesses and help workers find jobs more easily,” Mr. Linh added.

With clear efforts and orientation, job fairs in Son Duong district will continue to be a "bridge", not only bringing open job opportunities but also a key solution in sustainable poverty reduction in the locality.
