Welcoming the 11th Patriotic Emulation Congress of Thanh Hoa province (2025-2030 period): Multiplying advanced models

In recent years, the patriotic emulation movement has become an important driving force to arouse the aspirations of each collective and individual. Entering a new phase, when the whole province is focusing on promoting industrialization and modernization associated with digital transformation, patriotic emulation movements have become more practical, extensive and effective, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic goals set by the province.

In the 2021-2025 period, patriotic emulation movements continued to innovate in content and organization methods; developed comprehensively, extensively, and increasingly became more substantial and effective, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere that spread strongly throughout society. Thousands of collectives and individuals have registered and undertaken practical tasks and projects, concretizing the emulation movement with daily actions. The movements "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "For the poor - No one is left behind", "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste", "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation", "Digital literacy for all", "The whole country competes in building a learning society, promoting lifelong learning" ... not only created a vibrant atmosphere, but also aroused pride and a sense of community responsibility.

Notably, the movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" has spread widely throughout the province. By mid-August 2025, the whole province had 14,637 households completing the construction and repair of houses; 143 households had started construction and were in the process of completion. The emulation movement has clearly demonstrated the tradition of solidarity and humanity of the nation, strongly arousing the spirit of "mutual love and mutual assistance", becoming a movement of profound social significance and receiving high consensus among all classes of people.

In the economic field, many emulation movements have been launched and effectively implemented to develop the province's economy, typically: "Emulation movement to successfully carry out economic development tasks", "Special emulation movement to achieve outstanding achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels", "Innovation in management, technology, increasing productivity and product quality", "Promoting economic structure on the application of science, technology, innovation of the fourth industrial revolution" ... have been widely deployed, with rich content and diverse forms. Some outstanding models in economic development include: DST Nghi Son Steel Rolling Mill; Thanh Hoa OSB staBOO Bamboo Board Factory; Dai Duong High-tech Reinforced Concrete Components Factory; Outdoor Gear Vietnam sports equipment factory... Along with that are a number of outstanding industrial production facility projects such as: Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant, Dai Duong 1 Cement Factory, Long Son Cement Factory Line 3, Long Son Cement Grinding Station... These are the "nuclei" that promote regional economy, contributing significantly to the GRDP growth of the province, making Thanh Hoa the 3rd locality in the group of 10 provinces and cities with the largest economic scale in the country.

The patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) has been launched and widely implemented by the provincial trade unions at all levels. The emulation movement "CNVCLĐ pioneers in realizing the aspiration to build a civilized and prosperous Thanh Hoa homeland" has created a vibrant competitive atmosphere in agencies, units, and enterprises, becoming an important driving force to encourage a large number of union members and CNVCLĐ to enthusiastically study and work in production. As a result, there have been 122 typical models, 135 works, products, and tasks to welcome the Trade Union Congresses at all levels; 86,690 initiatives and topics have brought in hundreds of billions of VND in profits.

In the field of culture and society , the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has been strongly deployed, contributing to building a civilized and healthy living environment. Through the deployment and implementation of the movements, many individuals have become shining examples, dedicated, overcoming difficulties for the community. Among them is the example of Party Cell Secretary, Head of Residential Group 17 (Bim Son Ward) Hoang Van Luoc. He is known as a dynamic grassroots cadre, close to the people and with many practical initiatives. Most notably, he initiated the "book street" model.

The "Book Street" model in Residential Group 17, Bim Son Ward contributes to spreading the spirit of lifelong learning and encouraging a positive lifestyle in the community.

Mr. Luoc said: “Realizing the need for reading and the need to promote the building of a learning society, in 2021, I, together with the residential group cadres, mobilized households and children far from home to contribute books, newspapers, magazines, and at the same time called for socialization to renovate the book street space, install tables, chairs, shelves, bookcases... Up to now, this cultural space has become a familiar destination, where children and many people stop to read books, exchange knowledge, and contribute to building a civilized urban lifestyle."

Not only did he create the first "book street" in Bim Son ward, Mr. Luoc also associated this model with patriotic emulation movements, building model residential groups, mobilizing families to care for, preserve, and periodically supplement books. Thanks to that, the "book street" is always renewed, spreading the spirit of lifelong learning and encouraging a positive lifestyle. The story of Party Cell Secretary, Head of Residential Group 17 Hoang Van Luoc has become a progressive and inspirational example. From a simple idea, he has contributed to creating the image of a civilized and modern residential group, where reading culture becomes a bridge connecting the community and nurturing knowledge for future generations.

Implementing President Ho Chi Minh's teaching "A living example is worth more than a hundred speeches", the work of building and replicating advanced models has been focused on by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, leading and directing resolutely, achieving many practical results. Mass media, grassroots broadcasting systems, and social networks have been mobilized to spread stories and beautiful images from typical collectives and individuals. In particular, many new models and new factors have been promptly propagated on specialized pages and columns of Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio and Television. Patriotic emulation movements do not stop at slogans but have gradually become practical and sustainable driving forces.

The upcoming 11th Thanh Hoa Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress is an important milestone, demonstrating the determination of the Party Committee, the Government and the People in promoting tradition, striving to rise up, turning the patriotic emulation movement into a driving force for the cause of building and developing the homeland. With the achieved results, and the synchronous participation of the entire political system, Thanh Hoa province continues to strive to be one of the leading localities in patriotic emulation movements; by 2030, it will become an industrialized, modern province, leading in the new era, the era of national development.
