Welcome to the traditional New Year Bunpimay

On April 12, Son La Medical College organized a program to celebrate the traditional Bunpimay New Year 2025 of the Lao People's Democratic Republic for Lao students studying and living at the school.

Son La Medical College currently has 217 Lao students studying at the school. The Bunpimay traditional New Year celebration program is an annual activity of Son La Medical College, showing concern, sharing and encouraging the spirit of Lao students who have to celebrate the New Year away from home, contributing to strengthening and tightening the solidarity between students of the two countries as well as fostering the special friendship between the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos in general, Son La province and the northern provinces of Laos in particular.

At the program, delegates, teachers and Lao students reviewed traditions and performed traditional rituals to celebrate Bunpimay, such as: blessing, tying wrist strings, performing arts...

On this occasion, leaders of departments, branches and sectors; Liaison Committee of Vietnamese Volunteers and Military Experts in Laos, Son La province presented gifts to Lao students; Son La Medical College awarded prizes for sports activities to celebrate the traditional Bunpimay New Year of the Lao PDR in 2025. The program brought a warm and close atmosphere to Lao students./.
