At least 27 people were killed, mostly children, when a fire broke out at a crowded amusement park in India at the weekend.
Authorities in Rajkot, Gujarat state, western India, confirmed that at least 27 people were killed, "mostly children", when a fire broke out at the TRP Game Zone amusement park in the city on May 25. There were about 300 people at the park, many of them families with young children, on the weekend in the summer. The fire has been brought under control and the number of victims may increase during the search and rescue process. Photo: AFP.
