Detailed holiday schedule for students nationwide on April 30 and May 1

According to the previous announcement of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs ), on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 this year, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers will have 5 consecutive days off, from Wednesday (April 30) to Sunday (May 4). Workers will make up for the day off on Saturday, April 26.

In the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training , during the April 30-May 1 holiday, students will have 5 consecutive days off (April 30-May 4).

The previous school year time frame of the Ministry of Education and Training stated that the first semester ends before January 18, the program is completed and the school year ends before May 31. The recognition of completion of the primary school program and recognition of graduation from secondary school are considered before June 30. Enrollment for the first grade is completed before July 31. The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27. Other national exams will be organized according to the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Teachers' annual leave is taken during the summer break or can be arranged alternately at other times of the year to suit the specific characteristics and school year schedule of the locality.

The Ministry of Education and Training affirmed that the school year schedule needs to ensure consistency for all levels of education in a residential area, especially in general schools with many levels of education.
