In this situation, to proactively respond to and overcome the consequences of natural disasters, ensure smooth traffic and safety for people and vehicles, the Department of Construction requires road management and maintenance units in the province to continue to handle and immediately fix landslides, clear rocks, fallen trees, clear drainage ditches and streams; temporarily repair road surfaces and damaged structures to ensure safe and smooth traffic. In particular, priority will be given to handling sections of national and provincial highways with high traffic volume and vulnerable areas, with potential risks and insecurity; arrange security forces, signs, barriers and warning lights in areas under construction or at risk of continuing landslides; Absolutely ensure safety during the repair and traffic process; closely monitor the development of storms and rains, check and supervise key locations to proactively respond and repair in a timely manner; immediately report any unusual situations or major damage to the Traffic Works Maintenance Management Board and the Department of Construction for direction and handling. Units coordinate with local authorities to ensure the safety of people in areas at risk of landslides, recommend timely evacuation and protect the safety of works and traffic infrastructure.
