Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Son attended the opening ceremony of the new school year at Ha Giang Specialized High School.

The school currently has 88 administrators, teachers, and staff; 30 classes, 1,036 students, including 10 specialized blocks, of which the Chinese language block was established this year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, 100% of students in the school have good or better academic and training results. Of which: 1,000/1,048 students have good academic results; 48/1,048 students are good; 426 students have the title of excellent student, 570 students are good students; the school has won 17 national awards, 153 provincial awards. The school is evaluated and classified as an excellent unit in completing its tasks.

The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year was held in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ). The ceremony was held directly at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) and connected online to all educational institutions from kindergarten to university (public and non-public) across the country, with about 1.6 million teachers and more than 26 million students nationwide opening the 2025-2026 school year.
