Chairman of the People's Committee of Dinh Hoa District, Nguyen Minh Tu, reported at the working session.
Accompanying them were Comrade Duong Van Tien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; and representatives from the Ho Chi Minh Highway Project Management Board and the Ministry of Transport .
At the meeting, the leaders of Dinh Hoa district reported on the results of implementing socio- economic development tasks in 2024, the progress in achieving socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2025; and the progress in resolving petitions, complaints, and denunciations in the district.
| In 2024, Dinh Hoa district successfully met and exceeded its socio-economic targets. Industrial, commercial, and service production values were maintained and developed; total retail sales of goods and revenue from social consumer services reached VND 1,368 billion, an increase of VND 185 billion compared to the same period in 2023; an additional 2,256 jobs were created, reaching 102.5% of the plan; the value of products per hectare of cultivated agricultural land reached VND 110.2 million/ha, achieving 100.2% of the plan; concentrated forest planting reached 1,000.77/1,000 hectares, achieving 100.1% of the plan, including cinnamon planting reaching 507/500 hectares, achieving 101.4% of the plan; and 7 products achieved OCOP 3-star or higher, reaching 140% of the plan. In the past year, the district has built 2 communes that meet the model new rural standards, achieving 200% of the plan; 2 communes that meet the advanced new rural standards, achieving 200% of the plan; 7 hamlets that meet the model new rural standards, achieving 175% of the plan; culture and social affairs have been given attention, political security and social order and safety have been maintained... Regarding the progress of implementing tasks related to receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations, in 2024, the district level received 40 petitions and feedback, of which 25 were within its jurisdiction, 21 have been resolved, and 4 are currently being processed. |
At the meeting, the leaders of the District People's Committee reported on the progress of land clearance for four key provincial projects currently being implemented in the district, and the implementation of the Provincial People's Committee's plan on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. Dinh Hoa District requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the allocation of investment capital for the renovation and upgrading of Route 264, the Khuon Ngan - Binh Yen section, to a 2-lane road meeting the approved standards of a Class III mountainous road; and for the Provincial People's Committee to continue investing in the restoration of the historical site of the General Headquarters of the Vietnam People's Army during the period 1949-1954 and the historical site of the residence and workplace of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Bao Bien village, Bao Linh commune. Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a directive speech at the working session.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee, government, and people of Dinh Hoa district in the past period. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that Dinh Hoa district is a mountainous district with many socio-economic difficulties; investment attraction and industrial development are still limited; potential and strengths in tourism and forest economy have not been exploited adequately; budget revenue collection is still facing many difficulties; and there are no residential or urban areas built in the district. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the district leaders to develop a detailed growth plan, clearly outlining each project, growth driver, and implementation solution, in order to achieve the district's target of 13.63% growth, contributing to the province's overall growth target of 10.5% in 2025.
Regarding revenue collection, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed Dinh Hoa district to develop a detailed revenue and expenditure plan for each area and each revenue item on a monthly and quarterly basis, and proactively propose solutions to exceed the provincial budget allocation. Regarding public investment disbursement in 2025, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee instructed the Dinh Hoa District People's Committee to develop a detailed disbursement plan for each funding source, each investor, each project, and each locality on a monthly basis, with completion before February 28, 2025.
To effectively implement the directives from higher authorities, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Dinh Hoa district to urgently implement the assigned tasks in Plan 21/KH-UBND on key tasks of Thai Nguyen province in 2025; Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 11-NQ/TU on the development of the Thai Nguyen tea industry in the period 2025-2030…
Regarding projects implemented in the district, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the district to effectively carry out compensation and land clearance work, and accelerate the progress of the Ho Chi Minh Highway project from Cho Chu to Trung Son Junction; and the project to upgrade and expand the road from Km31 (National Highway 3) to the ATK Dinh Hoa Special National Historical Site. Regarding digital infrastructure, Dinh Hoa district needs to promptly review and assess the quality of the Internet network, and propose that telecommunications enterprises invest in and upgrade the infrastructure to improve service quality, meet the needs of the people, and serve socio-economic development; continue to focus on improving online public services; digitize historical sites; and concentrate on researching, disseminating, and promoting to all officials, Party members, and people the importance of developing science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the fastest, most effective, and most effective path to development. Strengthening support solutions for businesses, cooperatives, and household businesses to apply new science and technology to production and business; supporting businesses and cooperatives in bringing their products to e-commerce platforms.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that 2025 will see Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress. He requested that local Party committees and authorities proactively anticipate and monitor the situation, promptly resolving issues at the grassroots level, preventing the escalation of complaints and mass petitions to the province and central government, which could affect social security and order; and strengthen vocational training and job placement for poor and near-poor households, especially in rural, mountainous, and ethnic minority areas.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the Thagaco Smart Green Dinh Hoa factory project at Tan Duong Industrial Cluster, Dinh Hoa district.
The Tan Duong Industrial Cluster covers an area of 13 hectares. According to the plan, the Thagaco Smart Green Dinh Hoa factory project will complete phase 1 in the second quarter of 2025 with over 500 workers, and phase 2 will be completed in the first quarter of 2026 with a scale of 3,660 workers.
