Preparing Tet gifts for DK1 rigs, patrol ships and military and civilians in Con Dao district

On the morning of January 8, at Port of Naval Division 129 (Vung Tau city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), the Naval Region 2 Command organized the transportation of goods and gifts to serve the visit and New Year greetings to DK1 platforms, duty ships and soldiers and people of Con Dao district (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.

Officers and soldiers of the Naval Region 2 Command organized the transportation of goods and gifts for the working trip onto two cargo ships of Brigade 125. During this visit and New Year greetings to the DK1 rigs, the on-duty ships, and the soldiers and people of Con Dao district, the Naval Region 2 Working Group will bring necessities, fresh food, and ingredients for making banh chung, flowers, kumquats for Tet decorations; exercise and sports equipment, etc. to encourage the spirit of officers and soldiers on duty at sea and on the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland.

In addition to Tet gifts and food according to the standards of the Ministry of National Defense , the Navy and the Naval Region 2 Command, during this period, many organizations, businesses and individuals from the mainland sent meaningful gifts, contributing to taking care of the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers of DK1 rigs, on-duty ships and soldiers and people of Con Dao district during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.

Goods and Tet gifts are gathered at the port before being loaded onto ships.

On the morning of January 9, the Naval Region 2 Command will hold a farewell ceremony for the working delegation visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to the DK1 platforms, duty ships, and soldiers and people of Con Dao district on the occasion of the Year of the Dragon 2024. The trip is expected to last from 15 to 17 days.
