Attending the festival were comrades representing the Standing Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Ma commune; representatives of some specialized departments and offices of Nam Ma commune and a large number of people from the residential area of 4 villages Nam Ma - Huoi Ca - Song Da - Co Le, Nam Ma commune.
At the festival, representatives of the Inter-village Front Working Committee reviewed the tradition of celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, now the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The festival is also an opportunity to consolidate and strengthen solidarity and cohesion in the community; promote democracy, encourage people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, build cultural life, and contribute to the successful implementation of local socio -economic development goals.
Representatives of the 4-village residential area also reported on some of the achievements of the residential area in building the great national unity bloc and developing the local economy and society in recent times. Accordingly, the residential area of Nam Ma - Song Da - Huoi Ca - Co Le, Nam Ma commune has 384 households with 1,864 people. People in the 4-village residential area have promoted the spirit of solidarity, diligence, creativity, well implemented the Party's policies and the State's laws, together built a cultural life, developed the economy, maintained security and order, preserved the national cultural identity, and performed well in the Movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". The average income per capita reached over 38 million VND/year, the average annual poverty rate decreased by 1.5%. Over 92% of households have achieved the title of “Cultural Family”, 100% of school-age children go to school; children of school age are fully vaccinated. People have well implemented the conventions, preserved and promoted the traditional cultural identity of ethnic groups. Political security, social order and safety are maintained, the material and spiritual life of the people is constantly improved... Those results are vivid evidence of the spirit of solidarity and efforts of the people; making an important contribution to the overall development of Nam Ma commune and Lai Chau province.
Speaking to encourage the people at the Festival, Comrade Tong Thanh Hai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts in socio-economic development of the inter-village residential areas of 4 villages in the past time. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front of the commune and the people in the 4 villages to focus on implementing a number of tasks such as: Continuing to consolidate and promote the great national unity bloc, strengthening social consensus, building a united, civilized, prosperous and happy village; promoting economic development, applying science and technology in production, especially developing fish farming in Son La hydropower reservoir; striving to increase the average income per capita to exceed 45 million VND/year, reducing the poverty rate. Building a new cultural life, taking care of education, health care, protecting and taking care of children; protecting the environment, maintaining security and order. Strengthen the role of the Front Work Committee and mass organizations, carry out propaganda work well, mobilize people to participate in patriotic emulation movements, national target programs on new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction...
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that with the tradition of solidarity, sense of responsibility and high determination, the people of Nam Ma - Song Da - Huoi Ca - Co Le will continue to strive and achieve many high results in all fields; the material and spiritual life of the people will be increasingly improved; the villages will be more and more spacious, rich and civilized.
At the Festival, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Comrade Tong Thanh Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented gifts of encouragement to representatives of the 4 residential areas.
