Coast Guard Program accompanies fishermen in Nho Quan

On August 8, at the Gia Lam Commune Cultural House (Nho Quan), Squadron 11, Coast Guard Region 1 Command coordinated with the Nho Quan District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and Gia Lam Commune to organize the program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen".

The program visited and presented gifts to 20 families with preferential policies in difficult circumstances; presented gifts to 10 primary and secondary school students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties in studying in Gia Lam commune.

At the same time, Squadron 11 organized propaganda about the recent situation of the sea and islands and the Party's viewpoints and policies in the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands for the people of Gia Lam commune.

Through the program's activities, the affection and responsibility of officers and soldiers of Navy Division 11 are expressed in the work of "repaying gratitude", helping families with preferential policies in difficult circumstances and students with difficult circumstances to excel in their studies.

This will further strengthen the solidarity and attachment between the army and the people, contributing to helping people raise awareness of the position, role and importance of the sea and islands in the task of socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, participating in building political bases, building strong localities, and truly being a solid fence in protecting the Fatherland.
