Art program "Song of soldiers on the border and islands"

On the evening of December 17, the Quang Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association coordinated with Brigade 170 (Navy Region 1) to organize an art program with the theme "Song of Soldiers on Borders and Islands".

This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22 (1944 - 2024), the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22 (1989 - 2024); contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU, dated October 30, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development".

The Provincial Literature and Arts Association donated literature and art books to add to the bookshelf of Brigade 170, Naval Region 1.

The program introduces 13 poetry and music performances praising the homeland, praising the love for the homeland's sea and islands, the feats of arms in revolutionary wars, the image of soldiers who are guarding the sky and sea of the Fatherland day and night, depicting pride in the country's sovereignty , expressing feelings, love, respect and gratitude to previous generations who fought and sacrificed to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands.

Among them are many works written about the sea and islands of Quang Ninh province, many of which are new creations by members of the Quang Ninh Literature and Arts Association, many of whom were soldiers and officers in the armed forces.
