Vesak 2025 International Buddhist Art Program takes place on the evening of May 7

(HMC) - The International Buddhist Music and Art Exchange Program, directed by the Central Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, will take place tonight (May 7) at Thisky Hall, Sala Thu Duc urban area, Ho Chi Minh City.

In this program, musical works such as “ The Quintessence of Prajna Paramita ”, “ The World-Honored One ”, “ Vesak Song”, “ Live Joyfully – Thank You ”, or “ Buddhism Shines on Five Continents ”… bring the audience into the Buddhist space through elaborately staged works of art, combining symphonic – folk – contemporary music with modern stage effects, lighting and stage art.

The performing artists include: Symphony Orchestra of the Ho Chi Minh City Opera and Ballet; Phu Dong Ethnic Music Ensemble; Rhythm Section - Dung Da Lat light band; amateur music group led by Meritorious Artist Huynh Khai, Saigon Choir, Arabesque and Power dance groups, and artists: Viet Hoan, Dang Duong, Lan Anh; singers Duc Tuan, Le Viet Anh, Pham Trang, Dao Mac, Ho Quynh Huong, Ung Hoang Phuc...

In addition, the program also has the participation of many Buddhist art troupes from India, China, Korea, Cambodia, Thailand ..., bringing a rich experience of Buddhist culture from countries around the world .
