German Ambassador to Vietnam Helga Margarete Barth officially announced the launch of the "German Career Coach" journey within the framework of "Career Day - Discover the Future", held on April 26 at the Goethe Institute, Hanoi.
According to Ambassador Helga Margarete Barth, the "German Career Coach" project was launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam (September 23, 1975 - September 23, 2025). The project was initiated by the German Embassy, in coordination with many agencies, organizations, and funded by the German Government and businesses.
The project introduceseducation and training opportunities in Vietnam according to German standards, especially in high-tech areas (renewable energy); provides essential information on fair and safe migration. This ensures that young people can access the necessary resources and guidance, even in remote areas, to make their own decisions.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son said that the cooperation between Vietnam and Germany in the field of human resource education has been promoted over the years. Many parallel vocational training programs are being implemented effectively in Vietnam. Professions such as mechanical engineering, electricity, electronics, hotel and restaurant, nursing, information technology, etc. are the focus of cooperation in education and training between the two countries.
The Ministry of Education and Training assessed that the "German Career Orientation Bus" project will contribute to narrowing the gap in information, orientation, and action, helping young people and learners in Vietnam have more direct and vivid access to international standard learning opportunities.
The Deputy Minister of Education and Training proposed that Germany continue to support Vietnamese educational institutions in building similar models in localities with a need to develop young labor resources; continue to support Vietnam in introducing early career orientation elements into general schools; develop high-quality vocational training centers according to international standards to serve domestic needs and export high-quality labor; support the training of teachers and vocational education managers, especially in the fields of digitalization, skills assessment and international market connections.
The "German Career Coach" is a 12-meter-long tractor-trailer, specially designed and equipped with a solar-powered stage; equipped with interactive areas and learning materials, providing an engaging experience space for all visitors.
The bus is packed with information, seminars and advice from German and Vietnamese experts, helping learners navigate their opportunities in today's global job market.
From February 26 to November 2025, the "German Career Guidance Bus" will visit 20 provinces and cities: Hanoi (April 26 and October 13-22), Bac Ninh (May 9-10), Hue (May 13-16), Da Nang (May 18-20), Nha Trang (May 22-23), Ninh Thuan (May 25-27), Ho Chi Minh City (June 1, September 24-October 4 and November 3-6), Dong Nai (June 4-6), Nghe An (June 29-30), Ha Tinh (July 2-4), Long An (September 11-12), An Giang (September 14-15), Can Tho (September 17-19), Binh Duong (September 21-22), Hung Yen (October 24), Thai Nguyen (October 26-27).
