More than 400 students are supported to return home for free

Ho Ngoc Son and Ho Son Dong are brothers studying automotive engineering at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Ngoc Son is a fourth-year student, while Son Dong is a second-year student. Both brothers are happy to be able to return home early to celebrate Tet.

"My family is in Binh Dinh province. The 4 years I studied at school were the 4 years I was supported with bus tickets to go home. Thanks to that, my brother and I saved some money to buy Tet gifts and help the family" - Ngoc Son happily said.

This year, the school sent students from 7 provinces in the Central and Central Highlands, including Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen , Binh Dinh, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Kon Tum. For students going to other provinces, the school provided cash support so that they could proactively buy bus tickets.

In the series of activities to take care of students during Tet, the school also organized the "Check-in to get lucky" program, launched a lottery ticket donation program and auctioned 3 items. More than 40 million VND collected from the activities was used to buy gifts for disadvantaged students.

In addition, Lac Hong University also plans to mobilize benefactors to support Tet gifts for students staying in Bien Hoa City to work part-time.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice Principal of Lac Hong University, said that organizing free bus trips and taking care of students during Tet not only helps students have a warm spring but also demonstrates the social responsibility of businesses.

"In this difficult context, the contributions of businesses are extremely valuable to the school and students. They have helped reduce the burden on students in difficult circumstances, helping them have a warmer Tet with their families." - the leader of Lac Hong University emphasized.
