"We watched the match between U22 Malaysia and U22 Laos. They won with a big score and played very well. U22 Malaysia is also strong, so we focused more in training sessions. Coach Kim Sang Sik has not shared with the team yet, but he will analyze more carefully in training sessions so that U22 Vietnam can improve in the next match," Nhat Minh said.

The U22 Vietnam midfielder assessed that although U22 Malaysia lost to U22 Laos, their efficiency should have resulted in a better result than U22 Vietnam. In addition, like other youth tournaments, U22 Malaysia relies heavily on strength, so U22 Vietnam players must pay more attention.

Currently, U22 Malaysia has an advantage in the race for tickets to the next round in Group B, having won U22 Laos 4-1, while U22 Vietnam won 2-1. However, center back Hieu Minh believes that the chances are divided equally between the two teams.

"Both teams still have 3 points, so the chance is 50-50 for the top spot in the group. I think whoever performs better in the next match will get a ticket to the semi-finals of SEA Games 33," Nhat Minh said.

For his part, Nhat Minh affirmed that he and U22 Vietnam have prepared carefully, and the team is very confident because recently they have often had good results when facing Malaysia.

The match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Malaysia will take place on December 11.
