Transport and port stocks soar, VN-Index surpasses 1,290 points

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session reached more than 19,457.75 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold 1,105 billion VND with the codes being sold heavily such as: FPT (172 billion VND), HPG (118 billion VND), VNM (100 billion VND)... On the contrary, the codes being bought a lot include: FRT (45 billion VND), STB (40 billion VND), VGR (31 billion VND)...

Today's session, VN30 group of stocks closed with 11 stocks increasing, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.

Of which, GVR increased the most with an increase of 3.43% to VND 36,200/share, followed by CTG increasing by 2.13% to VND 33,500/share, MWG increased by 1.45%, FPT increased by 1.41%, TPB increased by 1.38%, STB increased by 1.14%, PLX increased by 1.08%.

Codes: HDB, MBB, VIB , VPB increased slightly.

4 codes: GAS, HPG, SSB, VJC stopped at reference.

On the other hand, POW decreased 2.15% to VND13,650/share, BCM decreased 2.01% to VND63,300/share.

The remaining codes: ACB, BID, BVH, MSN, SAB, SHB , SSI, TCB, VCB, VHM, VIC, VNM, VRE decreased slightly from 0.11-0.88%.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks only had HMC down 1.64%, HPG stopped at the reference, the rest all improved. Specifically: DTL increased 0.75%, HSG increased 2.13%, NKG increased 3.11%, SMC increased 0.35%, TLH increased 1.13%, VCA increased 1.05%.

The majority of securities stocks closed the session in green. Of which, VDS increased to the ceiling price of VND26,750/share, AGR increased by 2.29%, TVB increased by 2.18%, ORS increased by 1.83%, VIX increased by 1.11%, HCM increased by 1.05%, CTS increased by 1.01%, BSI increased by 0.69%, VCI increased by 0.52%, APG and TVS stopped at the reference price. On the contrary, FTS decreased by 0.11%, SSI decreased by 0.28%, VND decreased by 0.28%.

Banking stocks traded differently. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the remaining codes: EIB decreased by 1.26%, LPB increased by 0.38%, MSB increased by 0.68%, OCB decreased by 0.65%.

Some real estate stocks broke out such as: SGR and VRC hit the ceiling, FDC increased by 3.25%, NTL increased by 3.65%, NVT increased by 5.47%, TEG increased by 6.14%, VPH increased by 4.22%.

The seafood group competed to improve such as: ACL increased by 3.15%, ASM increased by 3.33%, VHC increased by 2.98%, CMX increased by 1.85%, IDI increased by 5.42%, ANV increased by 2.16.

Notably, in this session, the transport and seaport groups competed to break out, in which the codes: HAH, VTO, VOS, VNL, QNP, GSP, TCO increased to the ceiling, VSC increased by 4.41%, PVT increased by 5.56%, HVH increased by 3.4%, GMD increased by 4.2%, SFI increased by 5.54%, TCL increased by 4.71%.

* The Vietnamese stock market index maintained green throughout the session today, VNXALL-Index closed up 7.58 points (+0.36%), to 2,133.96 points. Liquidity in the whole market, with trading volume reaching 849.21 million units, equivalent to trading value reaching 22,377.01 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 233 stocks increasing in price, 81 stocks remaining unchanged and 171 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 245.58 points, up 0.59 points (+0.24%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 77.54 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 1,615.77 billion. The entire floor had 109 stocks increasing, 69 stocks remaining unchanged and 68 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 2.40 points (+0.44%) at 545.72 points. Trading volume reached over 53.40 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND1,355.38 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 16 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 11 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 99.56 points, up 0.70 points (+0.71%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 61.56 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 1,083.92 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 204 stocks increasing, 81 stocks remaining unchanged and 108 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 3.09 points (+0.24%) to 1,290.67 points. Liquidity reached over 857.74 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND21,578.04 billion. The entire floor had 243 stocks increasing, 64 stocks remaining unchanged and 193 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 3.07 points (+0.23%) to 1,311.10 points. Liquidity reached over 254.10 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND8,119.54 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 11 stocks increasing, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were SHB (over 28.89 million units), VSC (over 22.63 million units), HPG (over 20.25 million units), HSG (over 17.42 million units), HAG (over 17.10 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were SFC (7.00%), VDS (7.00%), TNI (6.99%), DPR (6.98%), OGC (6.98%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were TTE (-7.00%), L10 (-6.90%), LGC (-6.73%), SCS (-5.18%), DHC (-3.64%).

* Today's derivatives market had 171,522 contracts traded, worth VND 22,644.31 billion.
