Pay attention to political theory training and update new knowledge for cadres and party members.

Regarding the work of political theory training, the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress clearly stated: “Put political theory training and update new knowledge for cadres and party members, especially key leaders and managers at all levels into order, improve quality, efficiency and suitability for each subject. Closely and effectively combine theoretical learning with training and testing cadres in practice to improve political capacity; overcome the situation of reluctance to study and laziness to study political theory among cadres and party members...”.

Thoroughly grasping that orientation, from the beginning of the term until now, Party committees from the provincial to grassroots levels have always attached importance to and strictly directed the implementation of training on political ideology, updating new knowledge for cadres and party members, contributing to building political mettle, revolutionary ethics, professional capacity, motivating cadres and party members, especially leaders and managers, to strive to cultivate, train and strive to fulfill their assigned duties and tasks.

In order to effectively carry out political tasks, in recent years, Party committees and Party organizations under the Phu Ly City Party Committee have paid special attention to, valued, and maintained the work of fostering,educating political ideology and providing professional training for Party members, union members, and association members, especially updating new knowledge for cadres, party members, and association members in the entire Party Committee. Accordingly, from the beginning of the term to the end of 2023, the Phu Ly City Party Committee has directed the organization of 11 classes to foster awareness of the Party for more than 540 outstanding people; 6 classes to foster political ideology for new Party members with the participation of more than 290 Party members; 63 classes to foster political ideology, knowledge, skills, professional experience, state management work, and foster knowledge of national defense and security for more than 14,000 Party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, and association members. At the same time, in coordination with the Provincial Political School, 2 intermediate political - administrative classes were opened for over 170 students.

Representatives of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics presented certificates of completion of the training course and knowledge update to the members of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

According to comrade Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Phu Ly City Party Committee, thoroughly grasping the direction of the City Party Committee and the superior propaganda agency, since the beginning of the term, the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department has always proactively advised, coordinated and directed the serious and effective implementation of training on political ideology, updating new knowledge for the subjects in a direction suitable to the requirements of tasks and actual conditions in each locality and unit.

Promoting the results of the first half of the term, from the beginning of 2024 to now, the Propaganda Department of the Phu Ly City Party Committee has advised and coordinated the organization of 2 Party awareness training courses, 1 Political theory training course for new Party members, and 2 elementary Political theory courses. In April, the unit advised the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to direct Party committees at all levels to prepare conditions to help 7,740 Party members participate in an online conference (organized by the Provincial Party Committee) to train in Political theory, update new knowledge, learn about the value, meaning, and content of the article "Proud and confident under the glorious flag of the Party, determined to build an increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, thereby helping a large number of Party members better understand the glorious historical tradition of the Party; the Party's mission of leading the Vietnamese revolution associated with the great role of President Ho Chi Minh; the contents of revolutionary traditional values that need to be promoted; key tasks in the coming time for the country and Ha Nam province.

Focusing on implementing well the work of educating the Party and updating new knowledge has helped to orient and spread positive information, consolidate and multiply the trust, consensus and support among cadres, civil servants and people for the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, thereby proactively and voluntarily participating in contributing to building a modern and civilized Phu Ly city.

Along with the Phu Ly City Party Committee, the provincial Party Committees also attach great importance to and regularly maintain the work of fostering political ideology and updating new knowledge for the subjects. For the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee, in the first 4 months of 2024 alone, it organized 1 class to foster Party awareness (88 outstanding masses), 1 class to foster political ideology for new party members (42 party members); coordinated to open 2 intermediate classes of political ideology (130 party members).

For the Kim Bang District Party Committee, since the beginning of the year, the District Party Committee has directed the opening of 2 Party awareness training classes (124 outstanding masses), 1 Political Theory training class for 55 new Party members, 1 elementary Political Theory class; 3 Political Theory training classes and professional training for cadres, union members, members of mass mobilization agencies, women's unions, and district labor federations. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has directed the preparation of 1 Party awareness class for 78 outstanding masses.

According to comrade Le Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of Kim Bang District Political Center, thoroughly grasping the orientation of Party committees and propaganda agencies at all levels, in recent times, the unit has always proactively coordinated to advise, seriously and effectively implement the work of fostering political ideology, updating new knowledge for the subjects through promptly grasping the situation at the grassroots level to advise, coordinate to organize training courses, fostering suitable to the characteristics of work, awareness of each group of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, and association members.

Along with that, proactively advise and coordinate to invite lecturers with professional capacity, ethics, and teaching experience to promptly provide new knowledge and skills to help students absorb and effectively apply them to practical work. On the other hand, focus on training and improving the professional qualifications and skills of specialized lecturers to effectively and promptly convey the policies and laws of the Party and State, helping students easily understand and grasp the content of knowledge, limiting the situation of Party members, union members, and members who are reluctant to study, lazy to study political theory, and update new knowledge.

The training of political theory and updating new knowledge for the team of leaders, especially key leaders of the province, in recent years has always been given special attention by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, directed and implemented regularly and effectively. Every year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee directs and coordinates the organization for the team of leaders at all levels to study political theory and update new knowledge in accordance with regulations. Recently, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has also coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to develop a training program and update knowledge for the comrades of the Provincial Party Committee. The updating of new content combined with the updating of the 13th Party Central Committee's resolutions, the results of more than half a term of implementing the 13th Congress Resolution, the State's policies and laws in a number of key areas, associated with the domestic and international situation... has helped the team of key officials of the province continue to thoroughly grasp the strategic guidelines, major policies and orientations of the Party in the new period.

The importance of training political ideology and updating new knowledge for cadres, party members, and union members of Party committees and Party organizations at all levels in the province has contributed to improving the leadership and direction capacity, creatively applying Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Party's and State's guidelines, policies, and laws, motivating cadres, party members, union members, civil servants, and public employees to proactively and voluntarily train, cultivate, and strive to fulfill their duties and tasks, contributing to building Ha Nam province to develop rapidly and sustainably.
