Implementing the Official Dispatch of the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial People's Committee on proactively responding to the developments of super typhoon No. 3 and floods caused by the storm, the Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department has issued an Official Dispatch directing the police units in the province to closely monitor the developments of the storm and the flood situation, focus on directing and implementing plans to prevent and combat the super typhoon, ensure the safety of people's lives and property, and minimize damage caused by the super typhoon.

Waterway traffic police force propagates and guides people to anchor boats

Accordingly, the police of districts, towns and cities in the province are on duty with 100% of their staff; the departments under the provincial police are on duty with 50% of their staff, the remaining 50% are on duty to be ready to participate in handling situations caused by storms. At the same time, inspect and review flood and storm prevention plans; prepare adequate forces, vehicles, boats; materials, communication equipment, life buoys, gasoline, food, and provisions to be ready to participate in flood and storm prevention and rescue according to the mobilization plan of the provincial police and the provincial Command Committee for natural disaster prevention, search and rescue and civil defense.

Hau Loc District Police coordinated with Border Guard forces to help people evacuate their property.

Units maintain leadership, command, on-duty, combat duty, proactively monitor the developments and situation of the storm and the direction of the Director to promptly handle possible situations. Coordinate with the Army, Border Guard, local authorities and Flood and Storm Prevention Commands at all levels... organize forces ready to participate in rescue, evacuation, and prevent flooding in some key areas, landslides, flash floods in mountainous areas; focus on implementing measures to ensure security, order, protect key works and targets, and prevent all types of crimes from taking advantage of storms and floods to steal and destroy State and People's property. In particular, pay special attention to traffic diversion and route division plans, ensuring traffic safety and order on key traffic routes; promptly detect and handle congestion and landslides caused by storms and floods.
