Police strengthen case against parent who entered classroom to beat student

On October 2, the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City ( Quang Nam Province) announced that it had just reported the results of handling violations related to the violence incident at Nguyen Du Secondary School (Tam Ky City).

Accordingly, after the incident, the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City directed Nguyen Du Secondary School to conduct disciplinary procedures against students who violated regulations.

Nguyen Du Secondary School has established a student disciplinary council, organized a meeting with relevant parties to hear reports on the situation and analyze student behavior.

After reviewing the reports and self-criticisms of students who violated discipline and the minutes of the meeting to handle students who violated discipline in classes 8/9 and 8/11, the meeting agreed that it is necessary to strictly handle the violations according to regulations to deter and educate , while at the same time creating conditions for students who violated discipline to have the opportunity to learn from experience, strive to improve their studies and practice.

Based on the proposal of the disciplinary council, the Principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School issued a disciplinary decision against the violating students, notified the whole school, parents, the school and class parent representatives, and reported to the management agency.

Accordingly, student NT - class 8/9 (who chased and beat a friend, causing minor injuries) - was disciplined with a "reprimand". The school notified the parents to coordinate in helping the student overcome his shortcomings.

Student HB - class 8/11 (intentionally teasing a friend, indirectly causing the incident), student PH - class 8/9 (participating in chasing and beating a friend) - were disciplined with a "reminder".

Regarding the handling of the violation against Mr. Ho Van L. - HB's parent (who entered the school without permission to beat the student), Tan Thanh Ward Police have worked with related individuals, consolidated the file, and advised the City Police to issue a decision on handling.

Previously, as reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , at 1:15 p.m. on September 24, at Nguyen Du Secondary School, an incident occurred where Mr. Ho Van L. arbitrarily entered the school and beat students.

According to the school report, on the morning of September 24, the school organized a Phu Dong Sports Festival football tournament between classes 8/9 and 8/11. The match went smoothly and the result was that class 8/11 won. In the early afternoon, B. teased and provoked NT and PH (students of class 8/9). These two students chased and beat B., causing one of his eyes to swell.

When the class started, the teacher saw that B.'s eyes were swollen, so he told his parents to take him to the hospital for a checkup. B. borrowed a phone to call his father to take him to the hospital for a checkup, then returned to school as usual. However, because he was upset and angry because his son's eyes were bruised, Mr. L. returned, rushed into class 8/9, and beat T. and H. as a warning.
