
In Binh Kien, Tuy Hoa, and Hoa Hiep wards, hundreds of police officers and soldiers were divided into many groups and went directly to fishing grounds to call on and guide people to anchor their aquaculture cages; coordinate with militia, security forces at the grassroots level, and border guards to support fishermen in bringing their boats and rafts into small waterways to safely shelter from the storm.
In the communes of Tuy An Nam, Tuy An Don, Song Cau and Xuan Dai wards and Xuan Loc commune of Dak Lak province, the area bordering the sea of Gia Lai province (where the storm No. 13 is forecast to pass through), the local police force has coordinated with local authorities to mobilize maximum human resources and means to evacuate thousands of people and property in low-lying areas, on rafts, aquaculture watchtowers to solid shelters; organized the movement of fishing boats to safe shelters and anchorages.

In addition to closely monitoring and regularly updating storm forecast and warning bulletins, police units and localities have also proactively and strictly implemented 24/7 command, on-duty, and combat duty; inspected and fully prepared materials, equipment, means, and forces for natural disaster prevention and search and rescue in the area according to the "4 on-site" motto, ensuring proactive, timely, and quick response.
Assessing the intensifying and unpredictable developments of storm No. 13, on the morning of November 6, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee signed a document requesting localities in the communes: Xuan Canh, Xuan Loc, Xuan Tho, Tuy An Bac, Tuy An Dong, Tuy An Tay, Tuy An Nam, O Loan, Xuan Lanh, Dong Xuan, Phu Mo, Xuan Phuoc, Van Hoa, Tay Son, Hoa, Suoi Trai and wards: Xuan Dai, Song Cau to evacuate and relocate people staying in level 4 houses and non-permanent houses to safe places to be completed before 13:00 on the same day.
Present in the area where the storm is about to make landfall, VNA reporters recorded that from noon on November 6, heavy rain and strong winds began to fall, and some trees were broken. Currently, functional forces and local authorities are rushing to complete the final steps to prevent and limit damage caused by the storm.
