Dak Lak Provincial Police launched a peak campaign to ensure traffic safety and public order.

On the morning of July 28, Dak Lak Provincial Police organized a launching ceremony for a peak period to ensure traffic order and safety, public order and protect activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and Party congresses at all levels in the province.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Phan Thanh Tam, Director of the Provincial Police; Colonel Tran Binh Hung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, and many officers and soldiers from professional units of the local police.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Phan Thanh Tam, Director of the Provincial Police Department, requested units to synchronously deploy basic work and operations, concentrate forces to proactively identify crime trends and violations of security and order laws emerging on each route, area, and field, and promote the implementation of effective prevention and combat plans and strategies, not allowing complex crime activities that cause public outrage.

Strengthen patrol and control on routes and areas with complex security, traffic safety; urban order, public order throughout the province. At the same time, strictly handle violations according to the following topics: speeding, alcohol concentration, drugs, overloading, oversize; illegal use of roads and sidewalks for food and beverage business; displaying goods, placing and hanging signs, billboards...

Do not allow traffic jams on key routes with high traffic volume such as National Highways 1A, 14, 26, 27 and National Highway 29; tourist areas, amusement and entertainment areas; do not allow illegal racing or especially serious accidents to occur.

Strictly comply with the People's Public Security regulations, etiquette, manners, and cultural behavior in performing duties; at the same time, implement the information reporting regime in accordance with regulations...

In order to specify the task, the Provincial Police Director requested the Traffic Police Department to focus on effectively implementing the directives and resolutions of the Party, State, Government, and Prime Minister on ensuring traffic safety.

Closely follow and conduct in-depth research to advise the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Police to lead and direct the drastic implementation of tasks to ensure traffic safety in accordance with the motto "no forbidden zones, no exceptions, no breaks".

Strictly implement Directive No. 35/CT-TTg dated September 17, 2024 of the Prime Minister on "Handling cadres, civil servants, public employees and soldiers in the armed forces who violate regulations on driving vehicles with alcohol concentration in blood or breath, and do not cooperate with functional forces in handling violations"...

For the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, take the lead and coordinate with the Ward and Commune Police to focus on strengthening the prevention and fight against "street crimes" and violations of the law in public areas; regularly maintain grassroots mediation work, resolve internal conflicts among the people at the grassroots level to prevent complicated incidents from arising that affect security and order.
