At the conference, Comrade Hoang Dang Quang, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; introduced him to the Provincial People's Council to elect him as Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Mobilize and assign Major General Nguyen Hong Phong, Director of the Department of Internal Security, Ministry of Public Security, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, emphasized: Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh and Comrade Nguyen Hong Phong are assessed as young, capable and experienced cadres in Party building, state management in the fields of political security, social order and safety, with scientific, decisive and profound thinking and working methods. In their positions, the two comrades are assessed to always complete assigned tasks well.

The fact that comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh and comrade Nguyen Hong Phong were assigned the new responsibility of Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term by the Politburo and Secretariat shows the trust and recognition of the Politburo and Secretariat for the two comrades.

On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, the Head of the Central Organizing Committee congratulated and believed that with their experience, capacity and strengths, the two comrades would excellently complete the assigned tasks in the new work and task context with many challenges and very high requirements. The Head of the Central Organizing Committee stated: Thanh Hoa is a land of “spiritual land and talented people”, a place with a glorious revolutionary tradition and great potential for development. Therefore, Thanh Hoa needs to do a special job in building the Party and the political system. This is of special importance and key significance for the development and breakthrough of the province in the coming time.

The time for the Provincial Party Congress is approaching, the Politburo and the Secretariat request that comrades in the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee soon complete the draft documents to submit to the Congress.

Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee needs to focus on the breakthrough task of infrastructure development, digital infrastructure, and high-quality human resources. Research, review, and supplement the province's development plan, and supplement growth drivers for the province. Along with that, the Provincial Party Committee must be highly determined, do a good job of Party building and rectification, be truly united, democratic, innovate thinking, promote collective intelligence, and have a long-term vision to build a truly clean and strong Party Committee, considering these as important conditions for the province's development in the coming period.
