On the morning of November 5, the Women's Union of Ham Thang Ward (Lam Dong) organized the Women's Congress of the ward for the 2025 - 2030 term with the theme of Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Innovation - Development.

Attending the congress were comrade H'Vi EBan, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union; comrade Dang Thanh Phuc, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council and 121 delegates representing 9,790 women members in the entire ward.

After merging 3 units including the Women's Union of Xuan An Ward, Ham Thang Commune and Phu Long Town, the Women's Union of Ham Thang Ward currently has 20 branches (19 branches in residential areas and 1 branch of the Police Women's Union), with 119 groups, nearly 9,790 members out of a total of more than 16,135 women in the whole ward.

During the past term, the women's movement and the Association's activities have increasingly developed in both content and form, meeting the needs and aspirations of members.

The targets of the Women's Congress Resolution for the 2021-2026 term were basically completed, with many targets exceeding the plan.

The Association has focused on supporting women in economic development, taking care of members' lives, and focusing on strengthening the organization and developing members. The movements "Building new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Building families with 5 no's, 3 clean" have been implemented in accordance with local conditions, creating positive spillover effects.

Saving models following Uncle Ho's teachings have been maintained effectively, with 18 groups borrowing capital from the Social Policy Bank, totaling nearly 4 billion VND; the "For the poor" savings movement nearly 950 million VND. The Association maintains 42 revolving savings groups with 645 members participating, mobilizing nearly 500 million VND to help 50 women borrow interest-free to develop the economy and limit black credit.

Social security and humanitarian activities are carried out regularly. The Association maintains a "Charity Kitchen" at Binh Thuan Hospital, giving nearly 1,650 gifts, 4 tons of rice and 2,250 free meals, totaling 540 million VND. The Association also mobilizes resources to visit policy families, members in difficult circumstances, young people joining the army... with nearly 4,500 gifts and cash worth more than 600 million VND...

During the 2025 - 2030 term, the Women's Union of Ham Thang Ward set out 10 key targets. At the same time, promote the Movement to Build New-era Ham Thang Women, the Campaign to Build Families of 5 Yes, 3 Clean.

The two breakthroughs identified are comprehensive digital transformation in the Association's activities, accompanying women in improving digital capacity; promoting start-ups, innovation, and legitimate enrichment.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade H'Vi Eban, President of Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union, praised and highly appreciated the outstanding results achieved by Ham Thang Ward Women's Union in the past term.

He suggested that the Congress continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote propaganda and education on political ideology, ethics and lifestyle for women.

At the same time, focus on building the image of a new-age woman with knowledge, ethics, health and responsibility; performing well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women.

The President of the Provincial Women's Union also requested the Union to closely follow the Congress Resolution, concretize it with practical programs, projects and plans; promote emulation movements and training, fostering and introducing outstanding female cadres and members for the Party to consider and admit.

The Congress announced the decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee; President and Vice President of the Ward Women's Union for the 2025 - 2030 term. Comrade Pham Thi Ngoc Yen was appointed to hold the position of President of the Ham Thang Ward Women's Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
