PV GAS Trade Union: Solidarity, democracy, discipline, innovation, development

PV GAS Trade Union successfully organized the 5th Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030, towards the 8th Congress of Petrovietnam Trade Union and the 14th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union.

Before the Congress, PV GAS Trade Union launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the Central Highlands affected by floods, with a total of 54 million VND raised, demonstrating the spirit of sharing "PV GAS's affection".

The report at the Congress showed that in the 2023-2025 term, PV GAS Trade Union has completed all 16/16 targets, of which 7 targets exceeded the plan, many contents were completed 1-2 years early. The Trade Union organization achieved outstanding results with 500 initiatives, 100% of employees' rights and welfare were taken care of, 50 union members were admitted to the Party, maintaining internal solidarity and spreading effective emulation movements.

These results continue to affirm the pioneering and creative role of PV GAS's staff and union members, contributing to building the image of "Courage - Intelligence - Creativity - Affectionate" employees, creating momentum for the development of the Corporation.

Entering the 2025-2030 term with many new opportunities and challenges, PV GAS Trade Union aims to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, strengthen digital transformation, improve dialogue capacity, collective bargaining, and work with professionals to build a team of "Responsible - Professional - Creative - Humanistic" employees, actively contributing to the development strategy of PV GAS in the energy transition period.

At the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Member of the Petrovietnam Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PV GAS highly appreciated and affirmed that PV GAS Trade Union operates actively and effectively, always accompanies employees to encourage and share, follows behind to promote, goes ahead to lead union members and always accompanies in building the Corporation to develop strongly, pioneering in leading the Vietnamese gas energy industry, being one of the key units of Petrovietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh emphasized the important role of the Trade Union and requested the PV GAS Trade Union to continue to innovate, improve the quality and efficiency of operations, build a strong trade union system, exemplary union members, pay attention to caring for and protecting the rights of workers, strengthen dialogue, collective bargaining, and build harmonious labor relations. Thereby, the Trade Union accompanies the Corporation to successfully implement the development strategy for the period 2025-2030.

Also at the Congress, Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan, Chairwoman of Petrovietnam Trade Union, praised the outstanding role of PV GAS Trade Union in the impressive achievements of the Corporation during 35 years of development, and highly appreciated the fact that PV GAS Trade Union always maintains its leading position in the movements of the Group's Trade Union.

Entering a new term with the requirements of green transformation, digital transformation, expansion of fields of operation and double-digit growth targets, along with many challenges for employees and trade unions in the context of corporate restructuring and the strong impact of technology and artificial intelligence, he requested that PV GAS Trade Union continue to promote the achievements.

The Trade Union needs to focus on performing its core tasks of representing, caring for, and protecting workers, contributing to building a high-quality workforce, leading the movement of innovation, technical improvement, building a culture of creativity, strengthening strong grassroots trade unions, innovating operating methods, and improving management capacity. Thereby, building the PV GAS Trade Union organization to be increasingly professional, modern, worthy of the trust of workers and continuing to be the leading flag in the Petrovietnam Trade Union movement.

The Congress elected 15 comrades to the Executive Committee of the 5th term and elected a delegation to attend the 8th Petrovietnam Trade Union Congress. Comrade Tran Xuan Thanh continued to be trusted to hold the position of Chairman of PV GAS Trade Union, Vice Chairmen include Le Phuoc Khoi and Trinh Van Minh.

With the motto of action "Talk less - Think more - Do more - Fast speed - High efficiency", along with the spirit of "One team - One goal" and following the theme of the Congress "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", all officers, union members and employees of PV GAS unite, make efforts, be creative, strive to successfully implement the Resolution of the 5th Congress, contributing to building PV GAS to develop sustainably, for the benefit of employees and the prosperity of the Vietnam National Energy - Industry Group.
