The Kien Trung Palace Restoration, Rehabilitation and Restoration Project started in 2019, with a budget of nearly 124 billion VND, focusing on renovating and embellishing construction items within the Kien Trung Palace relic site such as the surrounding wall, railing system, Kien Trung tower restoration; Tien Vien and Hau Vien courtyards; and small surrounding works and technical infrastructure system, trees, etc.
Up to now, the project has basically completed the main items and exterior; the construction team is completing and decorating the interior, ensuring the quality and progress of the project.
According to architectural experts, Kien Trung Palace is a work of unique and distinctive architectural art with all the characteristics of an Indochinese style work with a combination of Asia and Europe.
On the European-style block layout, Kien Trung Palace is decorated with decorative details, motifs, and animals bearing the identity of royal motifs, creating a unique aesthetic trend. This is the Indochinese architectural style created by the Vietnamese.
Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said that when the project is completed, the Center will display artifacts, organize fine art exhibition spaces, display and experience spaces with the application of modern technology products, creating highlights of cultural products to serve tourists .
