Emulation cluster of the Women's Union of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces: Summary of emulation work in 2024

On the morning of November 5, in Nha Trang City, the Women's Union of the Central Coast and Central Highlands Emulation Cluster held a conference to summarize the emulation work in 2024 of the Cluster. Attending the conference were Ms. Tran Lan Phuong - Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Trang - Vice President of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province; leaders of the Women's Union of 10 provinces: Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak , Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Nong.

Representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Women's Union shared experiences and good practices in implementing union work and women's movements.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Khac Toan informed about the socio-economic situation of the province. In that common achievement, there are positive contributions from all levels of the Women's Union and women's union members in the province. In particular, the Provincial Women's Union has closely followed the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees to focus on implementing key tasks associated with the implementation of socio-economic tasks, national target programs, projects of the Central, the province and the locality. The unions at all levels organized many practical, diverse and exciting activities to effectively implement the 2024 theme "Enhancing the application of information technology in the activities of the Union"; continue to maintain and develop the model of "Model Women's Union" and "Outstanding Model Women's Union"; effectively implement emulation movements and campaigns. The unions at all levels have performed well their advisory role to the Party Committee in implementing policies directly related to women... Through the conference, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan hopes to receive the attention, connection and support of the leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the provinces for the process of building and developing Khanh Hoa province in the current period, contributing to creating strong synergy to promote the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress; Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

Concluding the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Tran Lan Phuong congratulated the achievements of the provincial Women's Unions in the Emulation Cluster; at the same time, highly appreciated the experiences and good practices in implementing the union's work and women's movements of the provinces. Ms. Tran Lan Phuong suggested that the provincial Women's Unions continue to implement targets, programs, projects... to achieve sustainable results; have practical and effective advice on policies related to women, local socio-economic tasks; promote communication on the results of the union's activities. At the same time, the provinces need to actively advise on contents related to female personnel work; advise on funding for implementing national target programs and projects; ensure the organization of professional activities; perform well the work of information and reporting...
