According to Buddhist scriptures and historical documents, Buddha's relics are the ashes and other remains of the Buddha's body after cremation. In January 1898, scientists found these remains during an archaeological excavation in a village called Piprahwa in Uttar Pradesh, India. Subsequent research results confirmed that the Buddha's relics as recorded in Buddhist scriptures are real - Photo: NGUYEN KHANH
