The Da Nang Open Paragliding Tournament with 120 domestic and foreign athletes participating brought eye-catching performances to the people and tourists of the Da Nang beach area.
On July 29, within the framework of the 2023 Da Nang Summer Enjoyment Festival "Wow Da Nang", the Da Nang Open Paragliding Competition with the theme "Flying over Tien Sa" took place on Son Tra Peninsula.
This paragliding tournament attracted 120 athletes from 17 paragliding clubs across the country to compete. Of which, Da Nang City had 30 athletes from two clubs.
In addition, this year's tournament has paragliding athletes from Laos and Thailand participating in motorized paragliding performances.

Athletes compete in two events: precision landing for unpowered paragliders and powered paragliding performances.
Departure location must be from the high point of Son Tra peninsula (600 m above sea level) and landing at Tho Quang beach, Son Tra district.
This is an activity within the framework of the 2023 Da Nang Summer Enjoyment Festival "Wow Da Nang", a paragliding competition held annually to develop the adventure sports movement of Da Nang City, enriching tourism products, especially sea tourism.
