
On August 5 and 6, the trainees were imparted knowledge and shared information by experts on modern library operations such as: developing digital transformation products and services; sustaining library information activities through impact assessment and advocacy communication; applying artificial intelligence in library operations; managing and using interoperable library management software.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi An, Deputy Director of the City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the context of digital transformation taking place strongly nationwide, libraries are not only places to store knowledge but also centers of lifelong learning, a connection point between people and global knowledge.

Improving professional capacity and updating new trends in library management and service are necessary tasks, contributing to the effective implementation of the city's cultural and educational development strategy and the project to develop the public library system of Da Nang city for the period 2021 - 2025 and orientation to 2030.
Through the training course, librarians and reading rooms in communes and wards, especially those in remote areas, will update new knowledge, apply information technology, and digital transformation into their units. Thereby, improving service quality, building libraries that are increasingly modern, friendly and close to readers.
