The People's Committee of Da Nang City has submitted a proposal regarding policies to support vocational training for disadvantaged and socially vulnerable workers in the city, to the City People's Council for consideration and approval at the upcoming session.

Effective implementation of the policy will help those receiving support to learn vocational skills, find employment, and have a source of income to stabilize their lives (Illustrative image).
According to the proposal, the city will provide support to delinquent youth, lawbreakers, school dropouts, and former sex workers who have reformed.
Vocational training will follow a list of training occupations, with a maximum support of 2 million VND per person per course.
For workers in households subject to relocation, land clearance, or land reclamation for production, vocational training support will be provided up to a maximum of 3 million VND per person per course.
The funding for these beneficiaries is expected to be covered by the state budget, averaging 190 million VND per year.
According to the Da Nang City People's Committee, from 2016 to 2022, the city effectively implemented the policy of supporting vocational training for the aforementioned target group. As a result, the locality provided vocational training support to 147 workers, with a budget of 306 million VND funded by the city's budget.
By effectively implementing the above policy, Da Nang has helped eligible individuals receive timely support for vocational training, contributing to job creation and providing them with a stable source of income to improve their lives.
This also contributes to achieving the program's goals of creating jobs and ensuring social security in the city.
