Congress of Delegates of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thanh Nhat Ward, term 2025

Attending the Congress were comrades Y Le Pas Tor, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union; Nguyen Thanh Liem, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Nhat Ward; Nguyen Dinh Tam, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee and 120 delegates representing 618 union members and youth.

Thanh Nhat Ward Youth Union has 39 affiliated youth union branches. During the past term, the propaganda and education work for union members and youth (YU) was innovated by the Ward Youth Union Executive Committee with many forms, rich content, spreading and going into depth.

The ward Youth Union organized 9 classes to study political theory lessons for 1,534 young union members; organized for 114 young union members to participate in the contest "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example", the contest "Excellent mediator", the contest "Excellent reporter", the contest "Application of information technology in administrative reform" organized by all levels and won many high awards.

Along with that, the Ward Youth Union regularly organizes activities to reform "Retarded Youth", "Drug Addicted Youth", "Law-Breaking Youth" to help retarded youth and law-breaking youth.

The shock and volunteer movement for community life attracted a large number of young union members to participate, and local people supported with donations and mobilized more than 300 million VND to give gifts and necessities to poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households; more than 160 young union members donated blood...

During the past term, Thanh Nhat Ward Youth Union supported 8 young people to borrow "Start-up" capital with 620 million VND from preferential capital from the Social Policy Bank; organized visits, cultural and artistic exchanges, and gave gifts to the sister unit - Reconnaissance Company (Border Guard Station 749 Yok Don).

In addition, the ward's Youth Union also actively participates in many large-scale, practical movements and activities such as: "Green Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign", "Supporting Exam Season" program, "Youth Festival with Traffic Culture", "Pink Week", "Zero-dong Supermarket", "Millions of Social Security Bags"... Through the above programs and activities, in the past term, Thanh Nhat Ward Youth Union had 5 individuals honored and commended as typical advanced models in the work of the Association and youth movements at the city level; 2 individuals were honored and commended at the central level.

The new executive committee was introduced at the congress.

The Executive Committee of Thanh Nhat Ward Youth Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, was introduced to the congress.

At the congress, the Executive Committee of Thanh Nhat Ward Youth Union approved the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term; in which a number of key targets were set out, such as: Every year, there is 1 youth project participating in the development, application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; 100% of affiliated Youth Union clusters launched and eliminated at least 1 "black spot" of environmental pollution; 100% of Youth Union clusters implemented a model of youth participating in maintaining security and order, preventing crime in the locality; at least 5 youth innovation start-up projects are supported for product output...

The Congress announced the decisions to appoint 25 comrades to the Executive Committee of Thanh Nhat Ward Youth Union, term I, 2025 - 2030. Comrade Nguyen Quang Giau, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Nhat Ward, was appointed as Secretary of the Ward Youth Union for the term 2025 - 2030.
