On the side of Nhan Dan Newspaper, there were comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Deputy Editors-in-Chief: Que Dinh Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of Nhan Dan Newspaper; Phan Van Hung; comrades in the Editorial Board, Party Committee, Youth Union, Inter-branch Association, Emulation and Reward Council; and representatives of cadres, civil servants and public employees of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

In the period of 2020-2025, the patriotic emulation movement of Nhan Dan Newspaper has had comprehensive development, going into depth, substance and effectiveness. Emulation movements have been launched widely, associated with the implementation of political tasks, with emulation movements launched by the Central, the Government and the Emulation Bloc of Central Party agencies, typically as follows:

“The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas”; “The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind”; “Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to practice office culture”; And especially, the movement “Each reporter has an initiative, each thematic department has an innovation” associated with the Nhan Dan Newspaper Innovation Award - has become a unique feature in the agency's competition.

Comrade Que Dinh Nguyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council presented a report at the congress.

The emulation movement associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become a guiding principle in all activities of the agency; many models, initiatives and good practices have been replicated, contributing to improving the quality of professional work, journalism skills, modernizing the newsroom, and promoting digital transformation.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized that patriotic emulation is not only a slogan for action, but has truly become a driving force for development, a great spiritual strength to help Nhan Dan Newspaper successfully complete its political tasks in the period of 2020-2025, specifically achieving outstanding results such as:

Timely, deeply and comprehensively propagandize the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; create social consensus, contribute to orienting public opinion. Many social and charity programs have strong influence such as "Fatherland in the Heart", "Good Morning Vietnam", "Bond Live in Vietnam", "Building Tet"... demonstrate the spirit of humanity, social responsibility and the unique mark of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

Many collectives and individuals of the Newspaper were awarded Medals, Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, Emulation Flags from the Government, along with hundreds of emulation fighters at all levels - proof of the constant efforts and creativity of the staff, reporters, editors and workers throughout the agency.

“Those results demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, intelligence and steadfast political will of the Nhan Dan Newspaper - the mouthpiece of the Party, the voice of the Party, the State and the People of Vietnam,” Comrade Le Quoc Minh affirmed.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, in the context of the country promoting the construction and development of a strong and prosperous Vietnam, becoming a developed, high-income country by 2045, the requirements for Nhan Dan Newspaper are increasingly higher, more comprehensive and deeper.

In response to that requirement, the Party Committee and the leadership of Nhan Dan Newspaper determined: Continue to strongly innovate and improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements; Link emulation with the implementation of political tasks, with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; Take the results of task performance and the satisfaction of readers and people as the measure of emulation.

Thereby, comrade Le Quoc Minh suggested focusing on key tasks such as:

Continue to thoroughly grasp Directive 41 of the Politburo, resolutions and directives of the Party and State on emulation and rewards; innovate awareness and enhance responsibility of cadres, party members and workers.

Innovate the content and form of emulation, direct the movement towards practical, effective and in-depth goals, closely linked to the core tasks of each department and unit.

Strengthening the discovery, training and replication of advanced models, attaching importance to timely, fair, transparent and substantial rewards.

Promote the application of digital transformation in emulation and reward work, building a professional, civilized and effective working environment.

Promote the role of each cadre, reporter, editor, and worker, uphold the spirit of responsibility, creativity, dedication, and solidarity, contributing to building Nhan Dan Newspaper to increasingly develop comprehensively and modernly, worthy of being the "vanguard" of Vietnam's revolutionary press.

At the same time, comrade Le Quoc Minh believes that the patriotic emulation movement of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the period of 2025-2030 will continue to develop strongly and comprehensively; becoming a driving force to motivate each collective and each individual to strive to overcome difficulties, be creative, innovate, and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

At the congress, many outstanding presentations were presented, demonstrating the spirit of innovation, creativity and responsibility in each field of work. Representing the units, comrade Vu Thi Quynh Trang, Deputy Head of the Science and Environment Department, shared about promoting the spirit of innovation and creativity associated with the task of disseminating science, technology and environment in the new period; comrade Dang Minh Nhat, Deputy Head of the Planning and Finance Department, presented a presentation on the role of emulation movements and rewards in the excellent completion of assigned tasks; comrade Tran Quoc Viet, Deputy Director of Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company in Hanoi, presented lessons learned from the organization and participation in emulation movements of the unit in the past 5 years.

Also on this occasion, 11 collectives and 20 individuals received the Certificate of Merit "Typical advanced" from the Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper for their outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.

Along with that, comrade Dinh Song Linh, member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Science and Environment Committee, announced the list of 5 delegates of Nhan Dan Newspaper to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

At the congress, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Que Dinh Nguyen launched the emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period with the theme "Promoting the tradition of solidarity, democracy, discipline, and innovation to build Nhan Dan Newspaper as an exemplary press agency of the Party, State, and People in the new era", including the following main contents:

Effectively organize and implement emulation movements associated with key political tasks; each unit, based on its functions and tasks, develops specific, practical and feasible emulation targets and plans, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the Party Committee of the Party Central Committee's agencies for the 1st term of 2025-2030 and the Resolution of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Promote the emulation movement to innovate journalistic thinking, improve the quality of content and forms of propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; shift from journalism that is communicative to journalism that is leading, orienting, persuading and creating sustainable social influence.

Focus on personnel work; build a team of cadres, especially heads of Party committees and leaders of units who are truly exemplary, with sufficient qualities, capacity, and prestige equal to the tasks, meeting the requirements in the era of national development; streamline the staff in the agency according to the established plan, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Party and the State; build a streamlined, effective and efficient team of cadres, reporters, and editors to meet the requirements of political tasks in the new situation of science, technology, and innovation.

Implement digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo; gradually digitize data, cut administrative procedures, apply artificial intelligence in professional work and party work with a spirit of urgency, determination and efficiency.

Focus on discovering, nurturing, building and replicating advanced models; promptly praising and rewarding collectives and individuals; creating motivation, encouraging and motivating cadres, civil servants and workers to enthusiastically compete to excellently complete their tasks.
