Voice of Vietnam Radio presents necessities to flood victims in Bat Xat district

The working delegation presented necessities including milk, notebooks, medicine... from sponsors and benefactors, worth about 800 million VND, along with 150 million VND in cash to Quang Kim commune.

Quang Kim Commune is one of the localities severely affected by the circulation of storm No. 3. Floods have flooded nearly 380 houses of local people; nearly 100 hectares of crops, 16 hectares of aquaculture area, schools and many roads were affected. The flooding has left behind very serious consequences, especially the amount of waste and mud covering key roads, residential roads, schools and houses.

Deputy General Director of the Voice of Vietnam Vu Hai Quang expressed his deep sympathy for the damage and loss caused by natural disasters. At the same time, he believed that with the efforts of local authorities, the solidarity of people in flood-hit areas and the support of the whole community, the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in Quang Kim will soon be completed, and the people here will soon stabilize their lives and production.
