Quang Nam Power Company plans not to interrupt electricity supply during the holiday period (from April 27th to May 1st, 2024), except in cases of emergency repairs. The company prioritizes ensuring electricity supply to locations hosting political activities and cultural events in the localities; and will organize enhanced on-call duty for leaders, operators, and those responsible for electricity maintenance and repair, as well as emergency response, 24/7.
To ensure continuous and safe power supply during the holiday period, the company has recently intensified inspections and addressed defects in the power grid; cleared vegetation to ensure the safety of power line corridors. Simultaneously, it has coordinated with local authorities to educate the public about electrical safety and energy conservation. People are prohibited from setting off fireworks, using confetti, releasing balloons, flying kites, or throwing any objects onto power lines or substations… in order to prevent incidents, power outages, and violations of the law.
Everyone should pay attention to using electricity economically and rationally to avoid high electricity bills. Limit the use of high-power electrical appliances during peak hours, especially during midday and evening peak hours. Do not use multiple high-power electrical appliances such as air conditioners, water pumps, washing machines, irons, microwave ovens, etc., at the same time to avoid overloading, power outages, and fire hazards. When using air conditioners, set the temperature to 26°C or higher. Take advantage of natural light and ventilation. Turn off electrical appliances immediately when leaving the room or when not in use.
If you experience a power outage or a potential electrical safety hazard, immediately call the Central Vietnam Power Corporation's customer service hotline at 19001909 for prompt assistance.
