(HNMO) – From July 1, the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training’s Admissions Portal officially opened for parents to register their children. Parents should note that the online registration period is divided by age. Accordingly, parents of children entering grade 1 can start registering online from July 1 to July 3. The registration period for 5-year-old children is from July 4 to July 6; the registration period for grade 6 is from July 7 to July 9.
Parents log in to the Admissions Portal of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, at https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn and follow the prescribed steps.
In the 2023-2024 school year, schools in the city will continue to apply online and direct enrollment to enroll 5-year-old children in kindergarten, enroll 1st grade students in primary schools, and enroll 6th grade students in secondary schools. After the deadline for online enrollment on the system expires, parents can go directly to the school to complete the enrollment procedures. The enrollment period for 5-year-old kindergarten, 1st grade, and 6th grade of schools will be implemented uniformly from July 13 to July 18, 2023.
According to statistics from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, in the 2023-2024 school year, the number of students of admission age in the first grades increased sharply compared to the 2022-2023 school year. Notably, the number of students of admission age for grade 6 increased by about 38,800; the number of students of admission age for grade 1 increased by about 11,600.
