The missing victims belong to 4 households in Phin Chai 2 village, A Lu commune, including: Sung A Phinh, Sung Thi Pia, Vang Thi Si, Sung Thi Minh Phung, Sung A Tua, Sung Thi Ly, Sung A Cau.
In addition, this morning, in Trung Leng Ho commune, Bat Xat district, there was a missing victim due to a landslide, Mr. Ly A Giay - Head of Trung Ho village. It is known that Mr. Giay was participating in supporting people to move out of the landslide risk area when he was suddenly buried by the landslide and has not been found yet.
In Den Sang commune, Bat Xat district, there was one person injured due to being swept away by a stream, Phung Lao Lo (born in 1996, a citizen of Nam Chac commune). Currently, Sung Lao Lo has been taken to the commune health station to treat his wound.
At Nam Kha 2 village, Nam Luc commune, Bac Ha district, at around 4am this morning, flash floods from a stream flooded into a house, causing the death of Dang Van Son (born 2001, local).

As of 7:00 a.m. this morning, in Bac Ha district, 15 households were recorded to have had their houses damaged by landslides, including: 1 household in Bao Nhai; 2 households in Thai Giang; 2 households in Ban Lien; 1 household in Nam Khanh; 1 household in Coc Lau; and 8 households in Nam oc.
According to information from the Lao Cai Province Hydrometeorological Station, at 9:15 a.m. on September 9, the Red River in Lao Cai City and Bao Ha Commune (Bao Yen District), the Chay River in Bao Yen District, Nghia Do Stream in Vinh Yen Commune (Bao Yen District), and Nhu Stream in Van Ban are experiencing complicated developments.
In the past 12 hours, floods on the Red River in Bao Ha, Lao Cai, the Chay River in Bao Yen, and Nghia Do stream in Vinh Yen continued to rise rapidly due to the impact of heavy rain in the basin combined with flood discharge regulation of upstream reservoirs.
