Fighting against wrong and hostile views on draft documents and personnel work of the 14th National Party Congress

On the morning of June 20, at the Academy of Politics (Ministry of National Defense), Steering Committee 35 of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with the Academy of Politics to organize a ministerial-level scientific workshop: "Struggle to refute erroneous and hostile views on draft documents and personnel work of the 14th National Congress of the Party". Comrades: Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of Steering Committee 35 of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc, Director of the Academy of Politics of the Ministry of National Defense; Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ba Hung, Political Commissar of the Academy of Politics co-chaired the workshop.

Speaking at the workshop, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To emphasized: The 14th National Party Congress determines the direction, goals, and tasks for national development in the next 5 years and the vision to 2045. Implement the determination to comprehensively and synchronously innovate in politics , economy, culture, society, national defense, security, and foreign affairs; at the same time, continue to enhance Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena. The 14th National Party Congress will select key Party leaders and managers for the political system - those who will shoulder the responsibility of leading the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army to successfully implement the country's development goals, bringing the country firmly into a new era of development, wealth, prosperity, and prosperity.

The correct policies and decisions at the 14th National Party Congress reflect the “Party’s will and the people’s heart” and will promote the people’s strength, consolidate and develop the strength of the great national unity bloc, enhance the Party’s leadership role and the State’s management effectiveness. Accordingly, each cadre, Party member and the masses need to heighten their vigilance, not waver or be vague, maintain the “ideological battlefield”, become “soldiers” with sharp “ideological and theoretical weapons”, and be pioneers in the fight on this particularly important front.

“After the workshop, the Organizing Committee needs to fully synthesize the content, recommendations, and proposals of the delegates, generalize them into scientific arguments and points, and serve as a basis for advising and proposing to the Party, the State, and the Central Steering Committee 35 policies and solutions to improve the effectiveness of leadership and direction in the fight against erroneous and hostile views on draft documents and personnel work for the 14th National Party Congress,” Lieutenant General Truong Thien To requested.

The Organizing Committee received 70 presentations from experts and scientists from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; agencies, units and schools under the Ministry of National Defense ; providing scientific arguments to promote positive information dissemination, prevention, fight against, contain and handle bad and toxic information, wrong and hostile viewpoints against Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress.

After the workshop, the Organizing Committee continued to edit and coordinate with the People's Army Publishing House to publish the proceedings as research and teaching materials at the Army's training facilities, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the forces directly performing the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints. At the same time, edit and publish typical products on mass media to directly serve the upcoming Party Congresses at the commune and provincial levels.
